Search Costs

The web site charges for each court record search you perform.

Through June 30, searches will continue at the current price of $10.00 or less. Effective July 1, all searches will cost $10.50 or less.

Effective July 1, the price to search Denver County is $5.00 and the rest of the state is $5.50. Therefore, the statewide combination search is $10.50 ($5.00+$5.50).

  • The price may be reduced depending on the jurisdictions you are searching and the volume of searches you perform each month. All volume pricing is custom and requires a 1,000 searches per month minimum.
  • The price for a search is the same regardless of whether many results are returned or no results are returned.

In many cases, your search will return more than one result. You have up to 24 hours after the initial search to review any or all of the results by going through the Search History tab located under My Profile without being charged again. Once the 24 hour window has passed the search will need to be submitted and paid for again.


When conducting a name search, you may search up to FOUR (4) First Names using the Same Last Name. All First Names MUST be submitted in the initial search by typing the first names into First Name space, separated by commas. The Last Name will remain the same for the search.


*IMPORTANT: If you simply resubmit the search again rather than entering the various First Names at one time, you will be billed separately for each name searched.


Example: Your target has the name of John Smith. But you are not certain of his exact first name spelling. You may search John, Jon, Jonathon, Jonathan – SMITH, all for the price of one search, provided you submitted all those names within one search.

Billing Methods
Per Search / Credit or Debit Card:
Best for: Personal or small-business users who will only search CoCourts intermittently at low volumes.
How to do it: Simply provide your credit or debit card information online in your account settings My Profile > Billing Profile that is kept securely on file. Each time you search, your card will be charged the per search fee. Each search will show up as a separate line item on your credit or debit card statement.

Prepay / Credit or Debit Card:
Best for: Personal or small-business users who will search low to medium volumes on a regular basis.
How to do it: Provide your credit or debit card information online in your account settings under My Profile > Billing Profile that is kept securely on file. Pre-purchase search credits in the Buy Credits tab in any dollar amount to be charged to your credit or debit card and added to your account. Each time you perform a search, your search price will deduct from your remaining prepay balance. When you run out of prepay dollars, simply go online to add more money to the account to be charged to your credit or debit card. Instead of each individual search showing up as a separate line item on your credit or debit card statement, you will have only one transaction for the prepay dollar amount.

Per Search / Invoice:
Best for: Corporate high-volume users who need to receive a monthly invoice to pay their bills. Invoices are due strictly Net 10. Not all are eligible.
How to do it: Contact cocourts@risk.lexisnexis.com with your user name, monthly volumes and contact information.

Prepay / Invoice paid with Credit or Debit Card:
Best for: Corporate high-volume users who would like to receive an invoice to simplify the billing process.

The prices of Court Case Searches may be updated from time to time. Search will be charged the prices current at the time of the applicable searches.
